What you'll do The E2E Planning Analyst will work as part of the team responsible for transforming how Clothing & Home handles the end-to-end ordering and stock flow from factory to customer to drive better availability from faster stock turn enabling lower cost and more effective/efficient teams. The role will be responsible for developing processes that build capability for merchandising teams in line level forecasting and inventory management for the Clothing & Home. The role will be responsible for maximising availability (and therefore sales) by creating accurate long term demand plan used for product buying. They will ensure the forecast is set in line with trading strategy to buy right stock and handle inventory parameters at DC-level to place the stock in the right location to minimise excess stock and operating cost and maximise inventory turn. Responsible for developing the processes for end-to-end ordering and stock flow capabilities in: Disaggregating the strategy and sales plan for subsets of product groupings and /or departments into the detailed system forecast on long term horizon, for the purpose of stock buying. Improving forecast accuracy across subsets of product groupings and/or departments. Delivering high forecast accuracy at FOB horizons (at product level). Handle stock placement across Clothing & Home DCs to meet demand and maximise availability & therefore sales. Provide insight into decision making to improve the trade-off/balance between sales and operating cost through inventory management and buying optimisation. Implementing changes to forecasts and inventory settings to deliver events and special buys. Ensure forecasting accuracy/bias and alignment or variance to merchandising plans as well as current and projected inventory levels are visible to Business Units. System generated sales forecast and stock holding and system recommended Purchase Order quantities Automated recommendations on existing purchase orders to be pulled forward or pushed back to deliver the right stock for the sales plan Alignment of Distribution Centre and Store flow and between commercial, execution and operational budgets Intake management for new and existing purchase orders Working cross functionally with Merchandising, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sourcing and Finance to develop and implement new planning processes, tools and ways of working that enable a step change in clothing and home supply chain availability, cost and resource efficiency. Who you are Number orientated analyst with strong mathematical skills Experience in business analysis and process improvement: process mapping, pain point analysis, opportunity identification, “to be” process proposal and implementation. Excellent analytical skills to identify root cause of a process bottleneck/issue and suggest a solution Confident working with data: able to analyse, summarise and confidently tell stories with data and to convey findings in an accessible, informative way. Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint Clear and concise communication style, able to simplify and explain complicated concepts to senior audiences.
