We are seeking dedicated English Teachers to join Career Teachers for work available across secondary schools in Sheffield and South Yorkshire.
Requirements:
* QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification.
* Relevant experience as an English Teacher within the key stage 3 & 4 levels or an ECT.
* Flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
* A current DBS on the Update Service or is willing to complete a new one.
* Able to easily commute to Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to students.
* The ability to teach both English Literature and English Language lessons.
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum.
* Maintain classroom standards in line with current school policies.
* Cover a range of other subjects where required.
Salary & working hours
Daily rates of pay vary dependent on experience between £120 to £180.
This is a flexible role with both full-time and part-time positions available – meaning, you have full control of when you are looking to work and how many hours you want to complete.
All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
