We are looking for a multi-disciplined manufacturing engineer with a thorough understanding of engineering principles and experience of component manufacture and design in a precision engineering environment. Experience within valve manufacturing is desirable. Candidates must have good attention to detail and demonstrate a thorough, methodical approach to their working environment.

The Role
1. Define manufacturing and inspection processes required to produce internally manufactured parts
2. Ensure all manufacturing processes and documentation (CNC & CMM programs, tool sheets, quality plans etc.) and product structures are compiled, reviewed and completed for the relevant target dates
3. Investigate manufacturing problems or failures, and implement corrective and preventive actions
4. With support of senior team members, make technical decisions for manufacturing processes that are either running or scheduled to run
5. Provide manufacturing technicians with technical support during manufacturing processes and with daily queries and problems
Minimum Requirements
1. Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline, preferably with manufacturing engineering
2. Minimum 3 years‘ experience working within precision engineering of CNC machined products
3. Strong understanding of ISO programming
4. Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation
5. A thorough understanding of CAD modelling, CAM programming and programming of CMM equipment
6. Strong understanding of Fanuc control systems
7. Experience using Edgecam or FeatureCAM software
8. Experience using PC-DMIS measurement software
9. Experience programming multi-axis turn/mill machine tools
Working Hours
This is a site-based role, working 37.5 hours:
Monday to Thursday
8am/9am to 4.30pm/5.30pm (working 8 hours per day)
Friday
8am/9am to 2pm/3pm (working 5.5 hours per day)
