STEM Recruitment Solutions is delighted to partner with our highly respected, well known Manufacturing client, assisting in the recruitment of a talented and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This critical role involves ensuring the manufacturing facility operates efficiently, helping maintain our client’s commitment to excellence in production of their iconic product.
Primary Responsibilities
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical faults quickly and effectively.
* Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to optimise functionality.
* Undertake preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and disruptions.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues early.
* Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
* Support the site in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and annual goals.
* Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer role or similar position.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment (essential).
* Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Strong Mechanical knowledge, with some Electrical expertise (preferred).
* A full UK driving licence or reliable transport to meet shift pattern requirements.
Shift Details
The role follows a rotating shift pattern of days and nights:
* 4 days on, 4 days off
* 4 nights on, 4 nights off
Salary and Benefits
* £44,000 per annum
