Learning Support Facilitator

The Role
As a Learning Support Facilitator, you'll play a pivotal role in the success and development of our students. Working closely with teaching staff, you'll help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their best possible outcomes.
Location
As part of this role, you will be placed in various SEMH and SEND environments across the Bristol area. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings, supporting students with unique needs and challenges. This dynamic environment ensures that you will gain diverse experiences while making a meaningful impact on the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personalised support to students with SEND and SEMH needs in a classroom setting and one-on-one environments.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities that help students meet their individual targets.
* Promote student independence and confidence, guiding them to develop essential life skills.
* Help create an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere where all students feel supported and valued.
* Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and external agencies to ensure that each student’s needs are fully understood and met.
* Monitor progress and adapt support strategies as needed, reporting on individual achievements and challenges.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to continuously improve our support services.

* Team Player: Collaboration is key! You enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, contributing ideas, and sharing successes.
* Passion for Education: Above all, you care deeply about the impact of education on young lives and are committed to helping students achieve their best.
To be eligible for this position, you are required to have the following:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide references that can be contacted
