We’re looking for someone to champion our goal to become a digital first firm. As a digital advocate, you’ll improve engagement across our digital landscape. We’re looking for someone who can advise the firm about digital best practices and develop integrated, data-based digital marketing campaigns.
Working as part of the digital team, you’ll be full of great advice and ideas to help our clients, employees and communities to see us as a trusted firm. You’ll inspire others through your passion for all things digital.
What will you do:
1. Work with digital manager and senior digital executive to deliver key strategic digital projects.
2. Focus on the best digital user experience and promote this across the firm.
3. Ensure content is effectively promoted across the firm’s website, social media, and email marketing channels and in line with our fewer bigger, better philosophy.
4. Advise and educate colleagues on digital content performance and identify ways to improve engagement and reach.
5. Perform a quality assurance role across digital channels, giving regular feedback to improve processes.
6. Give advice and training on content best practice, including SEO. Ensure our content and campaigns are engaging and meet our brand style.
7. Be the go-to person for all things SEO:
1. Undertake regular projects to optimise website content and key sections for SEO
2. Perform keyword and topic research using SEO tools
3. Use SEO insights to suggest content and detailed SEO focused content briefs to teams
4. Keep pace with SEO, content marketing and digital marketing industry trends and developments
5. Compile monthly content-centric reports and share these with relevant teams
6. Shape a content marketing strategy for the firm
7. Support our social media strategy by regularly auditing our social media presence, identifying opportunities and areas for improvement.
8. Support the development and best practice use of our email marketing system.
9. Support Google Analytics and business intelligence reporting to provide proactive insight into user actions and engagement.
10. Help promote a digital first attitude to content and campaigns through best practice guidance and advice.
What we are looking for:
1. 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing.
2. Excellent knowledge of SEO, LinkedIn and current digital trends is a bonus.
3. Able to guide and coach colleagues about best practices of delivering content successfully online.
4. Organised with strong attention to detail.
5. Creative in approach and idea generation while being delivery-focused.
6. Client and audience centric: always thinking client first.
7. Able to build strong and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.
8. Experience working with social media, CMS and email marketing platforms.
9. Experience of at least two of the following platforms: ContentStack; Vuture; InterAction; Bynder; Google Search Console; Google Analytics; PowerBI; LinkedIn Ads Manager; Google Ads; Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent); any NLE video tool.
10. Working knowledge of HTML and/or Markdown an advantage.
11. Experience of working on digital channel delivery of campaigns.
