Heathrow IRC combines Colnbrook and Harmondsworth removals centres under one management structure, making it the largest immigration removal centre in Europe, with a capacity of 965 residents.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at Heathrow IRC, an Immigration Removal Centre located in West Drayton.
Hours: Monday - Sunday - 9am - 5pm based on 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary between £42,525 - £50,400 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide healthcare to patients, promoting health and well-being within the prisoner population.
* Be an experienced Mental Health Practitioner, RMN, Social Worker (Mental Health), or Recovery practitioner with experience in the Primary care mental health field.
* Be responsible for assessment and caseload management of those referred into Mental Health services.
* Work as part of a primary and secondary care integrated model.
* Support your team to carry out comprehensive assessments, confidently communicating treatment options and initiating supportive care plans, working with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team.
