As Pre assessment Matron, you will manage the day-to-day running of our pre-assessment services across both Hospital sites. You will lead a team of highly qualified nurses and health care assistants to ensure we deliver excellent patient care using your existing knowledge to help shape a superior patient experience.
You will oversee clinics and deputise for the SCM as required. The post holder's responsibility is to facilitate an efficient and productive pre-assessment department, managing members of the team and communicating effectively with key members of the wider team and stakeholders. The role has budgetary responsibility and you will play a key role in the governance structures across the service.
As we move towards a collaboration within our group model, you will be a key stakeholder to develop the service to benefit the patients in the Tees Valley.
Day-to-day management of the service, ensuring efficiencies and productivity of the pre-assessment clinics. Providing visible leadership to the teams whilst ensuring the governance structures of the Trust are adhered to. The pre-assessment service supports a wide range of specialties including CPEX, therefore ensuring staff are competent, supported and continually developed to ensure the initiatives of the service and wider Trust are met. Financial responsibility for the department budget, management of attendance and production of rosters.
