Assistant Merchandiser
£25,000 to £28,000pa d.o.e NN14 2RL, 33 days leave, 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs 8am-1pm Fri, Pension, Training, Parking, Permanent, Hybrid
Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, a new and exciting role is available at a UK head office location of a global organisation. This opportunity is for an Assistant Merchandiser to join the global planning team. You will provide support to the Global Planner and be the main communication bridge between the Sales team and planning:
1. Checking the site system which stores a vast number of products for errors daily, correcting, and updating when required.
2. Managing deliveries and monitoring stock levels, liaising internally with other teams regarding any stock issues or requirements.
3. Analysing detailed data and compiling information for senior management reports.
4. Communicating seasonal launch plans and dates with other departments to ensure preparation and smooth launch operation.
5. Analysing stock keeping units, advising plans to maximise sales opportunities, supporting these plans from inception to delivery, and presenting to customers.
6. Monitoring sales trends and brand awareness, communicating this information regularly throughout the business globally.
7. Attending departmental meetings via Teams with Global Head Office.
8. Providing adhoc administration support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
We expect the successful Assistant Merchandiser to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, previous experience within merchandising, trade or brand administration with an element of supply chain, be an excellent communicator, and have a friendly, confident manner. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within trade administration, brand administration, or a supply chain position.
