To assist in the smooth running of the department by maintaining a high standard of food preparation, production and service.
University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a friendly hardworking, reliable person to support the Catering team via the Bank to provide great service within our busy catering department. Duties include preparing and cooking of food for patients and staff. working closely with dining room staff and catering assistants to ensure all areas receive the food that is ordered on time and to a high quality. you will also be taking temperatures and monitoring equipment. Reporting any discrepancy's or faulty equipment.
As a member of the catering team, you'll be responsible for providing an efficient, high-quality service to staff, patients and visitors, operating in compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures.

To ensure the most efficient service to our patients, staff and customers, it may be necessary for you to work in differing sections of the Catering Department, usually on duties appropriate to grade level.
It is recognised that the environmental conditions in kitchens may be varied depending on location and duties.
