The Role
We are interested in speaking with individuals experienced in commercial fleet management, to join our fast-paced Commercial division. As our Fleet Controller, you will have responsibility for advising key stakeholders in relation to vehicle repairs. As a key point of contact to customers you will proactively manage day-to-day cost-effective vehicle repair decisions.
Working hours are 20 per week, which can be scheduled from Friday to Sunday or from Saturday to Monday.
* To provide effective customer service and build relationships with both internal and external customers
* To work within a fleet desk team and to liaise effectively with all other departments across the Division
* Help identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer
* Prioritise work effectively ensuring all systems and updates are recorded accurately
* Ensure all information is correctly entered into the internal software systems accurately, sufficient, and suitable
* Monitor and organise all contracts
* Liaise with Contract Relationship Manager & Customer Service Manager regarding any issues that may arise
* Deal with day-to-day queries & escalations from customers
* Ensure records are kept on file for all repairs and service / inspections
* Key point of contact for customers, regularly providing updates on repair progress and due service inspections and other required works.
* Report all defects to the customers, preparing estimates / quotations and obtain covering order numbers
* To provide further assistance to other team members when requested
About You
* This role requires a strong knowledge of LCV & HGV compliance & proven experience of working in a similar role
* Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding working environment
* Excellent telephone based customer service skills
* Excellent Verbal & written communication skills
* Organised and reliable
