Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Hazel Grove Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and ensure continuity in learning Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues encountered Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Previous experience in a teaching role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics Proficient in using technology in the classroom Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience in working with students with diverse learning needs Working Conditions: The role involves working in various schools within the North West England area. Working hours are typically during school hours from Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be required based on school requirements.
