Endoscop y Healthcare Assistant/Decontamination Technician London / The Wellington Hospital Central Building, 21 Wellington Rd, London NW8 9SQ Full time : 37.5 hours per week Monday – Saturday Shift times : 7.5 hours per day Permanent contract Salary : competitive dependent on experience We’re looking for a Healthcare Assistant/Decontamination technician to join our Endoscopy Team at T he Wellington Hospital site currently rated “ Good ” by the CQC. The Wellington Hospital has over four decades of expertise ; providing the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment in key areas of healthcare, including: neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care. The Wellington Hospital Endoscopy Unit is a JAG accredited site. We provide high quality patient service. As a Healthcare Assistant in the Endoscopy team you will assist clinical staff in providing nursing care of the highest quality to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures as and when pre, during and post procedure. You will assist in the decontamination rooms washing, processing and vacuum packing endoscopes and accompanying patients to other wards (Platinum Medical Centre, The Wellington North, The Wellington South, other sites) The team consist of diverse 12-15 staff, consisting of Nurses, HCA's and Admin.
