Working in a hybrid style at home and East District Office you will work full time, 37 hours per week., You will provide support to tenants who in the defined groups have been identified as vulnerable. This support will help tenants manage their accommodation successfully and reduce the risk of eviction, anti-social behaviour, debt and other threats to an individual's security of tenure. These tenants may be receiving voluntary support or may be conditional and related to a Short Scottish Secure Tenancy. Support may also be provided to prospective tenants to help them gain access to accommodation which best meets their needs and wants.
You will have an HNC/Level 3 in Housing or a relevant subject and a qualification meeting SSSC registration requirements for Housing Support Workers., You will have experience in housing and/or support service provision or have a social care background or have experience of multi-agency working. You will have the ability to work with minimum supervision.
You will be able to show empathy for those requiring advice and support, good organisational and people skills and a team player. Possible weekend and evening work may be required.
