About Job:
Develop, lead, and implement the business development strategy in alignment with the company's overall strategic plan. This includes focusing on the growth of new customers and pursuing profitable new markets and clients. Contribute to all aspects of business development to support the commercial success of the business. Drive new business development by identifying strategic sales opportunities, securing new clients, and managing client relationships through to successful closure. Oversee marketing strategies and tools designed to generate leads and acquire new clients.
Lead cross-organizational projects aimed at fostering new business opportunities and driving growth.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Strategic Planning & Execution: Plan, organize, and execute activities within the designated area to achieve the shared objectives of FMP effectively.
* Project Management: Report deviations from project requirements and take corrective actions to ensure alignment with set goals.
* Performance & KPIs: Actively work towards achieving established objectives (KPIs) to measure success and drive performance.
* Business Growth: Implement business development strategies that maximize competitive advantage and drive new sales.
* Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key industry players and partners.
* Lead Generation: Stay ahead of market trends, identifying new business development opportunities.
* Sales Sector Development: Expand existing sales sectors and foster the growth of emerging markets.
* Compelling Proposals: Collaborate with the proposals team to ensure successful outcomes.
* Customer Focus: Deliver exceptional service by understanding customer needs and providing high-quality recommendations.
* Customer Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term business relationships with stakeholders.
* Market Analysis: Assist with market analysis, providing insights into market trends.
* Product/Service Development: Collaborate with relevant departments to meet customer needs.
* Sales Culture Development: Support and promote the desired Sales and Customer Relationship culture.
* Marketing: Develop and execute a targeted marketing strategy.
* Leadership: Motivate and guide employees towards achieving shared goals.
* Teamwork: Foster positive relationships within the team and across the organization.
About You:
* Extensive industry experience with a wide network of contacts.
* Proven track record in business development and sales conversion.
* Operational experience in customer relations, supply chain, or business development.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
