Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Proposals Manager where you will be responsible for managing the agency's response to competitive tenders of varying nature and size across the agency's capability areas: from business case and research to proposal management and pitch support. Creating persuasive proposals is at the front line of business development and is one of the most tangible demonstrations that we’ve listened to the needs of the potential client. This is a varied and well-networked role where you will regularly liaise with the marketing and new business leads as well as senior management and department heads. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a portfolio of proposals simultaneously, plan and drive them to successful submission. Key responsibilities Proposal Management: creating project management plans to respond to tenders, setting internal deadlines, requesting and chasing information from the relevant capability leads. Writing: writing content for all proposals, liaising with the senior management team and all internal stakeholders. Briefing the studio on creation of proposals when required. Facilitation: being the central point of understanding of a proposal and chairing proposal meetings. Data analysis: diligence and accuracy in recording information, spotting market trends and reporting on them. Administration: coordinating proposal requests, responding to questions, ensuring content libraries are up to date and accessible and organising meetings. Daily checking of all RFP databases for relevant opportunities. The skills and experience you’ll need Experience in a proposals/bids role ideally in a busy agency or professional services environment. Good attitude, ambition and a drive to win. Personable, proactive and ambitious. Team player who works collaboratively with procurement and colleagues across the agency and as part of the wider team. Excellent communicator, with good writing skill and ability to project manage the proposal process from end-to-end. Experience of working under pressure on multiple proposals with many moving parts to tight deadlines. What’s in it for you?
