About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and development of students. Your role will involve providing one-on-one assistance to students, facilitating group activities, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Whether you're assisting students with special educational needs, providing pastoral care, or supporting classroom management, your contribution will be invaluable in helping students reach their full potential.
Requirements:
* Background in public services (e.g., police, fire service, military, social work, etc.)
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Empathy and understanding towards the diverse needs of students.
* Calm and positive manner to controlling challenging behaviour.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
