East Anglia's Childrens Hospice are currently seeking a research nurse to join their busy dedicated team on a permanent, part-time basis. The role is offered on 22.5 hours per week, to work across 3 days. The position can be based at any of our 3 locations depending on the individuals geographical proximity to one of our hospices - please specify when applying (Norfolk, Suffolk or Cambridgeshire). This key role aims to provide a focus for children’s palliative care research that contributes to the building of research capacity and capability throughout EACH. Main duties will include; Support EACH’s strategic plan to act as a Research Participation Identification Centre for relevant research studies. Promote research and development in evidence based children’s palliative care practice. Evaluate research requests and requirements for EACH participation as a Participant Identification Centre (PIC). Lead on designated studies which EACH are participating in. About the Candidate We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced nurse who is enthusiastic, adaptable and confident and can prioritise a combination of diverse tasks while working autonomously. The successful candidate will have prior knowledge or experience of working within clinical research plus knowledge of governance and legislation requirements. Applicants will need the following qualifications; Registered nurse with paediatric experience. Current NMC registration at the time of application.
