Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct daily patient ward rounds to assess and monitor infection prevention practices.
· Provide proactive IPC advice to healthcare staff, patients, and visitors.
· Engage in problem-solving and contribute to the development of effective infection control strategies.
· Undertake audits and infection surveillance to track and analyse infection trends.
· Manage outbreak situations effectively, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses.
· Deliver training and educational sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of staff regarding infection prevention.
· Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to build effective relationships and promote best practices in IPC.
· Demonstrate the ability to work independently, managing day-to-day clinical responsibilities while adhering to tight deadlines.
· Travel to various trust premises as required, ensuring timely and efficient movement across sites.
· Commit to ongoing professional development and support the growth of colleagues within the team.
