Where you'll work Real Estate is a key focus of our business, with about 60% of our lawyers practicing full-time in the sector. We are ranked by The Lawyer as having one of the UK's Top 15 Real Estate practices. Our multidisciplinary real estate team advises on investment and development across commercial, retail, residential, and mixed-use real estate. Based in our Manchester office, the Real Estate Team includes 62 lawyers. We undertake a wide range of property projects, providing fresh thinking and commercial solutions, working alongside colleagues in planning and construction. As a solicitor in the Real Estate, Investment and Development Practice, you'll work with Partners, Senior Associates, and Associates on investment acquisitions, disposal, and asset management. The role involves advising clients across the private and public sectors on investment, asset management, and strategic land transactions. What you will be doing Involvement in all property aspects of development and regeneration schemes; Undertaking a mix of property work for various stakeholders including developers and local authorities; Assisting with acquisitions and disposals, asset management, and joint venture projects; Providing assistance on Real Estate finance work; Project management and collaboration with specialist teams; Complying with core competencies appropriate to your qualification level; Building and maintaining effective client relationships; Participating in and leading marketing initiatives; Managing own files in compliance with Lexcel procedures; Participating in training sessions.
