Day-to-day, you will: In this role, you will be involved in the complete bid life cycle, leading complex bids, and providing expert bid coordination and management to deliver compelling offerings to our customers and help us win business.Reporting to the Senior Bid Manager, you will collaborate closely with the wider Bid team and interact with other colleagues involved in technical delivery, business development, commercial, and legal.• Work with the sales lead to understand customer requirements, support the sales lead in establishing the bid strategy and win themes, and develop compelling bids and proposals.• Manage virtual team and maintain engagement to ensure input and contributions to bids from the relevant SMEs.• Ensure Bids and Proposals are completed in a timely and efficient manner and delivered to the customer within the agreed timescales.• Prequalify all tender/bids and proposal documents prior to take on.• Identify resources required to compile quality tender on time and flag resourcing risks at Qualification.• Review the Invitation to Tender especially looking for items of commercial impact.• Arrange initial Bid kick off meeting. Ensure tasks and actions are issued following BKO.• Chair all relevant internal meetings.• Ensure bid response complies with customer ITT requirements.• Support the sales lead with the shaping of executive summaries.• Ensure necessary Due Diligence, bid confidentiality and bid checklist is complete.• Maintain communication with the Sales Director to provide timely updates on bids and flag up issues as required.• Support and lead the effort post submission through the clarification process to contract award.• Source and lead the submission of Framework tenders.• Conduct lessons learned' reviews - written and/or verbal review of won/lost opportunities to Stakeholders. Your skills and experiences likely include: • Previous Bid Management Experience • Excellent English • IT literate, Word, PowerPoint and Excel as a minimum • Organised • Self-motivated • Influencing others• Project and time management skills - juggling different bids and priorities at the same time• Managing, guiding and advising throughout a bidding process• Attention to detail• Proactive, adaptable and driven by operational improvements• Methodical thinking and good at building relationships• Communicating and results driven• Understanding of UK Public Sector procurement• Knowledge of UK Public Sector Procurement Frameworks• Ability to prioritise workload and work to set deadlines What are we all about??
