We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our growing team. In this hybrid role you will lead a talented group of engineers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software products, while fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
2. Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
3. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment on deliverables.
4. Drive technical decisions and best practices, ensuring that the team follows industry standards for coding, testing, and documentation.
5. Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring the team meets deadlines and maintains high-quality standards.
6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and promoting knowledge sharing.
7. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for team members.
8. Identify and resolve bottlenecks or challenges hindering the team.
Basic Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. 2+ years of experience managing and leading engineering teams.
3. Professional experience in software development.
4. Proven ability to oversee the design and development of scalable, reliable software applications.
5. Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including agile methodologies.
6. Experience with cloud platforms.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. A track record of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. Strong problem-solving skills.
10. Proven experience of mentoring and coaching engineering talent.
