The Role: As a Project Planner, your responsibilities will include: Developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules for large-scale, time-sensitive projects. Using scheduling software such as Primavera or MS Project to manage timelines effectively. Identifying potential delays and implementing recovery plans with built-in contingencies. Coordinating live updates with customers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to manage expectations. Conducting accurate time and resource estimations while adapting plans to unexpected disruptions. Producing reports on milestone slippage, critical path analysis, and resource demand & availability. Presenting schedule variance analysis and triggering exception reports as necessary. Skills & Experience Required: To excel as a Project Planner, you should have: A strong ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies and variables. Experience using Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools for project planning. An understanding of project specifications and estimator’s breakdowns. Proven ability to create accurate labour forecasts and conduct critical path analysis. Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
