Summary As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit. The Hours: We have availability for 3 roles. 1 offering 520 hours (on average 20 hours per week) and 2 offering 400 hours (on average 15 hours per week) which includes regular weekend shifts; to be discussed at interview (No Split Shifts) The Salary: £11.64 per hour Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2025. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the duration of the contract What it's like to work here You will report to the Welcome Manager and be working within a team comprising of six staff and up to eight different volunteers, daily. They may volunteer for one, or more, shifts during a week or just one a month. You'll get to know up to thirty welcome and bookshop volunteers in our team. In this role, you will be based at our Wider Estate Hub, in Comer Woods and the Visitor Reception at Dudmaston Hall and on occasions, at other locations around the wider estate. What you'll be doing Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide.
