We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Nursing leader to join the Royal Liverpool Hospital Acute Medical Unit. The role of the Ward Manager is fundamental to lead safe, effective and compassionate care to our patients.
The Royal Liverpool Hospital Acute Medical Unit is a 62 acute bedded unit with a 4 bedded high care area, split into three areas: a 33 bedded unit, a 17 bedded unit, and a 16 bedded unit, with staff dedicated to work within these areas.
We are an admissions unit that cares for a wide range of patients from various specialties. If you strive to provide the highest standards of care and have a passion for improvement and education, then we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate would report directly to the Matron and would be an integral part of the Ward Manager team in the Care Group. You will be encouraged and empowered to lead your team and have ownership of the ward area with the support of the senior nursing team and wider MDT.
If you are an experienced Ward Manager looking for a change or a Band 6 with leadership experience, we welcome your application. Knowledge of Acute medicine and understanding the complexities of the patient group would be an advantage but not essential, along with a passion for quality and transformational change.
