Urban Connect are currently partnered with a specialist water contractor who have secured significant investment for the design and build projects within the Yorkshire Water AMP8 framework.
This business are now recruiting for a Lead Design Coordinator to control design budget and ensure that deliverables are met. This will involve managing multi-disciplinary design including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineers.
To ensure efficient processes, this business recently acquired a design consultancy which allows for closer collaboration and faster turnaround of designs. Main duties will be:
* Work closely with the Project Manager to develop Contract Financial Reporting and Design Deliverable List
* Develop a design management plan, including Design for Manufacturer (DfMA)
* Issue AFC Documentation for construction
* QA & Submit designs to client for review
* Collate necessary H&S design information as well as developing Designers Risk Assessments (DRA's)
As this business continue to increase revenue, they are consistently expanding their in house design team to create a seamless process for their clients.
