Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Data Management: Input and manage payroll data including new hires, leavers, adjustments, and bonuses with precision.
* Statutory Compliance: Calculate and administer statutory payments like SSP, SMP, and SPP, ensuring all payments adhere to legal standards.
* Reporting: Conduct monthly audits to align pay rates with the National Minimum Wage and generate comprehensive payroll reports.
* Operational Excellence: Execute timely payroll processing to meet BACS deadlines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Communication: Efficiently manage payroll queries and provide essential communication links between departments.
* Training & Development: Contribute to the training of new team members and provide cover for colleagues as needed.
