YOUR ROLE
As the Data Analyst, you will work within our Continuous Improvement and Planning team. You will play a critical role as a contributor in driving our business forward by analysing and interpreting information to provide insights and recommendations for our operation, highlighting anomalies for the business to take into consideration.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be working closely with the CI team and the Control Tower to collaborate and highlight opportunities for optimisation and better service delivery. Providing data analysis and investigations to find the root cause and create an action plan, you will provide information generated from the data to the customer and internal stakeholders. You will design and develop operational solutions on non-CI projects; these are projects which will not accumulate to direct cost savings, however, they will help the customer make better decisions using intelligence from the projects. You will be responsible for creating reports using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application, you will be an experienced data analyst with intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills and previous experience of using Power BI. Alongside the more technical aspect of the role, you’ll need to be able to present your findings back to the operation in a way that is simple but effective, focusing on key data trends. You will be an effective communicator, able to prioritise your workload and work to tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail. It would be desirable, however not essential, if you have proven experience of working within a 3PL logistics environment.
WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey. We offer a benefits package that includes competitive annual leave entitlement with a fantastic holiday buy scheme, pension and life assurance along with access to an employee benefits platform that offers discounts on gym memberships and money off vouchers for a diverse range of retail, travel and hospitality brands. There’s no doubt that you will be compensated for your hard work and commitment, so if you’d like to work for one of the top logistics providers in the world, then please do get in touch to find your next role.
