We're looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to help manage our supplier relationships and keep our purchase ledger running smoothly. If you have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role and pride yourself on your organisation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, this is your chance to thrive in a team that strives for best-in-class performance across every workstream.
Key Tasks
1. Responsible for accounts payable inboxes and query management
2. Invoice, credit note, and purchase order processing
3. Supplier account maintenance, including VAT code verification
4. Ownership of supplier ledgers, accountable for variances and discrepancies
5. Supplier statement reconciliation
6. Remittance communication
7. Bank reconciliation
8. Responsible for weekly and monthly payment run processing
9. Bank payment uploads
10. Assistance in upskilling junior team members
Additional tasks (experience not required):
1. Historic ledger reconciliation
2. Sale payment reconciliation
3. Process project assistance
4. Supplier contract management
5. Support the Finance Manager with weekly cashflows
6. Daily bank balance management
Requirements
1. Previous Purchase Ledger experience, at least 2 years' is desirable
2. Excellent organisation skills and very diligent
3. Thrive within a fast-paced environment and have the desire to match the business growth ambitions
4. An interest in health and fitness is preferable
