Commercial Director - UK, remote base
Our UK based CDMO customer offers a wide range of dosage forms for non-sterile and sterile applications. In support of ambitious growth plans, the founders are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Director, to play a key role in the senior leadership team.
Leading an evolving commercial team, providing mentorship, coaching and motivation while developing a culture of excellence, the Commercial Director will develop and execute strategies across sales, marketing, customer management and development in support of growth.
Working in close partnership with functions across the business, the successful candidate will ensure customer programs transition seamlessly from initial agreement to successful delivery.
As a high growth, entrepreneurial business the Commercial Director will provide strategic direction, and leadership but offer a practical hands-on approach to execution and delivery.
They will provide exceptional customer management expertise, working with well-established customers as well as onboarding and developing new customers, bringing a relentless focus to experience and customer loyalty.
With an analytical mind, the successful candidate will understand trends, perform competitor, and market assessments to make informed, smart decisions on commercial strategy, financial performance, and profit optimisation.
This is a commercial generalist role, requiring an individual to provide direction to the full marketing suite in support of growth as well as proposal development activities to maximise success.
We are looking for individuals with a pedigree in commercial leadership, across sales and marketing, from within the pharmaceutical CDMO sector. Individuals who offer exceptional negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of increasing revenue growth and expanding market share. A proven leader, who inspires and motivates, with excellent communication skills, confident and personable style.
