SLC now have an opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst 2 to join our team. Business Intelligence Analysts deliver data trends and business insight through the production of regular reporting and dashboards, as well as ad-hoc requests. Working to agreed requirements, key KPIs and user needs, they ensure that reports and dashboards are provisioned to specification and satisfy business objectives through the application tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation, delivering actionable insights and recommendations that deliver business value. The successful candidate will be expected to work within data frameworks, alongside maintaining best practices in data analysis, ensuring a consistent standard of accuracy, delivery, and communication to all stakeholders. SLC offer a blended working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. What you bring: Demonstratable experience in developing dashboards, reports and data outputs that clearly and simply allow users to understand insights and recommendations from the data used, tracking the value of insights and recommendations Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements, and vice versa Demonstrable experience of a strong understanding of insight provision through strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities Demonstratable knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau) to leverage insights from data Demonstratable knowledge of SQL for data extraction and data source creation with an understanding of ETL techniques and tools (Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, Azure), or other comparable experience in sourcing and manipulating data for analysis Proven agile and innovative mindset, with experience working in fast-paced teams supporting critical business functions with familiarity working within frameworks You can expect more from a career with SLC.
