Teaching Assistant 26.25 hours a week – term time only - temporary for this academic year. Required ASAP – Salary between £14042 - £15782 depending on experience. St. Paul’s Church of England Primary School is a successful and popular primary school with its own nursery, situated close to the centre of Leamington Spa but in a semi-rural setting. Our School’s vision is, ‘Let the little children come to me’. This vision clearly highlights how inclusive we are as a school, and was acknowledged in our last Ofsted report (November 2022). We are a one and a half form entry school that take all children, from all backgrounds, with all needs. We have a higher than average number of children with additional needs and we therefore offer a high level of support both academically and socially. We have a very established, and highly skilled staff team, due to the significant level of training and support we have invested in over time. We are also a ‘Thrive’ school, which is an approach to support children’s emotional and social development. At our heart is our values of brave, kind, encouraging, challenging, thankful and thoughtful. The Governors wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant who may be required to work as a class support, one to one support or both. If successful, appropriate and necessary training would be provided. We are a Christian school, so we expect our staff to support our Christian ethos and values. We are looking for a kind, positive, creative, caring, flexible and enthusiastic individual to support both the teaching and pastoral needs of our children. So, if you want a role that is rewarding, challenging, appreciated and truly makes a difference to the lives of children and young people, this could be for you.
