About You
We're looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about creating robust, scalable cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will:
* Have hands-on experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments
* Possess a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure management, containerisation, and automation tools
* Be proficient in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
* Have good scripting skills in Python, or similar languages
* Demonstrate a keen eye for optimising system performance and reliability
* Be adaptable and eager to learn in our evolving technological landscape
About The Role
As our DevOps Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that powers our innovative learning solutions. You'll be at the heart of our technology stack, ensuring that our platforms are always performing at their best. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting daily security checks and monitoring to ensure optimal performance and security of our GCP-hosted infrastructure
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure enhancements that support our strategic goals
* Refining CI/CD pipelines and improving deployment processes for our suite of learning technology solutions
* Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues swiftly to minimise disruptions
* Automating infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
* Supporting system integrations from acquisitions, ensuring seamless alignment with our existing infrastructure
* Participating in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity
* Identifying and implementing opportunities for operational efficiency and performance improvements
