Teaching Assistant required at an independent school in Salisbury, Wiltshire, providing alternative education for young people aged 11 to 16 who can no longer access mainstream education. Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will play a key role in helping students develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills by providing tailored academic and emotional support. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored support. Assist with classroom management and organisation. Support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Qualifications and Experience: Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, especially mental health related. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A compassionate and patient approach to supporting learners. Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
