Our facility houses 120 employees across 2 functions: manufacturing and pharmaceutical & analytical development. We are recruiting for a dynamic, experienced Supply Chain/Logistics Assistant to support our energetic and friendly department. This full time, permanent role will work alongside the Logistics & Customer Service Specialist and report directly to the Supply Chain Lead. Working flexitime hours Monday to Friday, with onsite car parking and an excellent benefits package, this role is available for an immediate start. Job Description As a direct point of contact with customers, the role will support operational processes, queries and customer requests whilst providing swift corrective actions. Responsibilities and duties Responsibility in maintaining continuous supply of manufactured product from FCT to customer. Communication and products requirement alignment with supply chain actors Sales orders management Customer order/Purchase order management and transmission with “translation template” where relevant Ensure system data is accurate to provide the correct data in setting up Sales invoice, credit note, commission at the right price and right payment terms Delivery, Transportation and distribution occurs properly and timely with the right shipping documentation Manage shipment of adhoc product product requests (Samples, testing material, non-compliance testing and maintenance materials) out with the SAP system. Point of contact for shipping data and plan of action for ensuring all correct shipping documentation is in place and organised in a timely manner. Required experience Minimum 3 years’ previous experience in a similar logistics role (Desirable) Excellent time management Highly organised Essential knowledge of import/export Exceptional Communication skills Excellent attention to detail Highly motivated and driven Empowered to produce results and be accountable Ability to work as part of a team Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs Experience of using SAP desirable Fluent in written and spoken English What you get in return: ’People come first at Ferring’.
