Centre Manager | £33k | Dog friendly offices
Are you ready to take on a new challenge as a Centre Manager? Our client, a leading Business centre in Canterbury, is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join their team. As a Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the organisation by managing relationships with Tenants, Partners, Contractors, and Suppliers. With your strong understanding of Health and Safety, you will ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Job title: Centre Manager
Location: Canterbury. Due to the nature of the role this position is office based. Please note Dogs are welcome in the Tenants offices so it is a Dog environment. You'll have your own parking space and your new office is walking distance to local shops and the city centre.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 DOE
Benefits: 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays, Private pension and 24 hour support line
Key Accountabilities as the Centre Manager:
1. Develop and maintain effective relationships with Tenants, Partners, Contractors, and Suppliers.
2. Proactively monitor and manage Customer satisfaction.
3. Promptly resolve any Customer issues and/or complaints.
4. Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring safe usage within the building.
5. Line manage the Head Receptionist and Handyman.
6. Ensure all vacant units are in a ready-to-show condition.
7. Achieve lettings to meet sales and profitability objectives.
8. Provide timely reporting to the Property Manager.
Financial Management:
1. Understand the Centre's financial goals and objectives.
2. Minimise controllable expenses.
3. Proactively chase debt.
Self and Team Management:
1. Effectively manage workloads within the team.
2. Motivate Centre staff to provide excellent customer service.
3. Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
4. Identify and nurture talent within the team.
Key Knowledge and Experience Required:
1. Previous experience in a Customer facing role.
2. Excellent Administrative skills.
3. Strong understanding of Health and Safety.
4. Positive and proactive attitude.
5. Ability to build strong relationships.
6. Ability to handle challenges and fast-changing situations.
7. Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
8. Self-motivated and problem-solving mindset.
