About the role and practice
We have an opportunity for a Decontamination Assistant to join our Edinburgh Dental Specialists practice in Edinburgh.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. Working in a friendly and professional environment, you’ll work collaboratively with the practice team to support the decontamination, sterilisation, packaging and storage of dental instruments for use within the practice.
* Full-time hours available
Edinburgh Dental Specialists is fully private 8 surgery practice. Established in 1994, Edinburgh Dental Specialists is a multidisciplinary Specialist referral centre located in the heart of Scotland’s historic capital.
We are situated over five floors, all treatment is carried out at our comfortable, welcoming facility, combining modern up-to-date equipment with traditional, caring service.

About you
We welcome your application to our Decontamination Assistant vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
* Enjoy working in a methodical, process-led way, and comfortable to work alone as well as part of a team
* Keen to learn how to perform sterilisation processes, as well as all relevant health and safety guidelines
* Previous experience in a similar clinical setting is helpful, but not vital.
