About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ALN Teaching Assistant to support Secondary school aged students in Swansea. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide tailored support that enhances the educational experience for students with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students.
* Support students in developing their social skills and emotional well-being.
* Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
* Provide one-on-one and group support to enhance students' learning experiences.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children and additional learning needs is desirable.
* A compassionate and patient attitude with a commitment to making a difference in students' lives.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous.
