SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Teach Now is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Ealing, London.
About the Role:
In this rewarding position, you will provide tailored 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with complex SEND needs, including speech and language difficulties, cognition and learning challenges, and non-verbal communication. You will also work with small groups to foster an inclusive learning environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering personalised support to the pupil, ensuring their unique needs are met.
2. Collaborating with the class teacher to plan and manage engaging activities and interventions.
3. Leading and participating in specialized interventions such as Bucket Time and Attention Autism to enhance learning and focus.
4. Encouraging the pupil's independence and helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience supporting pupils with similar SEND profiles is highly desirable.
2. A confident and passionate individual who thrives in a SEND-focused role.
3. A strong team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (including a 30-minute personal lunch break and 30 minutes covering lunch duties).
