Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 40 Monday – Friday, 06:30 - 16:30
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 3-4 months
City: NOTTINGHAM
4 on 2 off shift pattern - immediate requirement
An active team member of the day to day running of the Nottingham contract and use of all associated resources and equipment to maximise the facility throughput whilst following all operational and supervisory instructions in line with the operating permit and company policies.
The successful candidate will be expected to operate the baler on a daily basis as well as drive mobile plant.
Key responsibilities:
Carry out duties according to the programme of works and work instructions. This will include mobile plant and shredder.
Work inline with the Rota, this includes weekends.
Work safely whilst maintaining the efficient operation of the RDF Plant equipment including mobile plant
Liaise with the facilities supervisor and assistant to maintain efficient and effective operations
Undertake all tasks in accordance with the company’s Quality and Environmental Management system and Health and Safety Regulations
Ensure materials are processed in a timely manner to achieve maximum throughput at all times.
Ensure turnaround times are met regarding the tipping and loading of vehicles.
Inspection of all input material and reporting of any non conforming loads.
Inspection of all output material ensuring the quality meets with customers specification
Undertake the necessary daily checks to the facility, to ensure it is safe and tidy to accept waste and site users.
Qualifications:
Yellow plant licence - Training will be provided
Experience:
Previous experience working on a waste treatment facility is desirable
Skills & Abilities:
Reliable, punctual and with good communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively within a team
Work on own initiative as well as part of a team
