Our client, operating within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Procurement Practitioner to join their team on a contract basis in Barrow. This role falls under the Business Unit-SUBS and involves hybrid working arrangements, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site. The contract is for a duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver and monitor procurement activity for the specific item/scope of work assigned
Execution of the end-to-end procurement process including the delivery of information, products and services to quality, cost and schedule requirements
Continually review supplier performance
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Job Requirements:
Experience in procurement within the Defence & Security sector
Significant understanding of the procurement lifecycle
Experience with supplier performance management
Strong stakeholder management skills
Security Clearance: SC & UKEYO
Familiarity with hybrid working arrangements
