Vacancy – Consumables Operations Co-ordinator
Company Profile:
ESS Employment are recruiting for our local established and professional client in Yate. This role would be ideal for someone who has some previous office-based experience, a high level of Excel experience and is looking for a role with variety and scope for progression.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and manage sales and purchasing information in excel spreadsheets.
2. Manipulate customer sales data to forecast sales and report to senior managers.
3. Manipulate supplier purchase data to forecast purchases and report to senior managers.
4. Communicate with suppliers to ensure good levels of stock continuity.
5. Place orders with suppliers including arranging importation from Europe and USA.
6. Communicate with account managers to provide information to support sales.
7. Produce and review sales quotations in Word on request from sales staff and management.
8. Populate price list data required for customer price lists.
9. Communicate with customers in support of company sales and to answer queries.
10. Arrange export of product to customers in Europe.
11. Report, record and assist in resolving customer concerns or complaints.
12. Use SAGE to process customer orders, create invoices and run reports.
13. Take minutes at meetings and maintain personal training records.
Key Experience and Skills:
1. Excellent verbal communication skills.
2. Excellent mathematical skills – A-C GCSE Maths.
3. Error free written communication – A-C GCSE English Language.
4. Experience and good skills in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
5. Experience and good skills in Sage is an advantage but not essential.
6. Polite, pleasant and helpful on the telephone and in general.
7. Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
8. Well organised and able to prioritise workload to achieve deadlines.
9. Attention to detail for record keeping.
