Fire & Security Service Desk Coordinator
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
Location: Remote (Office based in Warrington)
Are you a Fire & Security Service Desk Coordinator providing support to engineers?
An opportunity has arisen for a proactive individual to join our client's fast-paced team to work in their Fire and Security Division.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, be enthusiastic, highly organised, confident and methodical, have great attention to detail, and be hardworking.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to engineers by liaising and booking appointments with clients.
2. Respond to reactive call-outs and order parts.
3. Organise and manage remedial and installation jobs.

The ideal candidate:
1. At least 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar role.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Polite telephone manner and the ability to provide a high level of customer service.
4. Ability to solve logistical problems to drive efficiency with Engineer schedules.
5. Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
6. Exceptional attention to detail.
7. Solid organisational skills including time management and multi-tasking abilities.
8. Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks.
9. Capable of interpreting customer technical queries and communicating information to engineers.
10. Experience in service desk environment is essential.
11. Working knowledge of Fire and Security systems would be advantageous.
12. Previous use of SimPro or similar CRM system would also be advantageous.
Daily Tasks include:
1. Managing emails and telephone call enquiries for new jobs and emergency call-outs that require immediate response.
2. Logging information onto our CRM system and maintaining accurate records.
3. Ordering parts and equipment for jobs, issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
4. Booking appointments with clients and scheduling engineers.
5. Sending job sheets to clients and requesting purchase orders.
6. Monitoring ongoing jobs and ensuring engineers complete all required job sheets.
7. Liaising with subcontractors on booking jobs, completing works, kit requirements etc.
8. Producing quotations for remedial works.
9. Assisting in the production of RAMS and OM documentation where necessary.
10. Assisting operation manager with compliance audits.
11. Calculating cost of reactive jobs and liaising with accounts to ensure invoices are issued.
12. Building relationships with clients.
13. Working towards targets to achieve SLA's.
