As a MR radiographic assistant, you will be working with our radiographers in the MR scanning department, ensuring exceptional support for our patients before, during, and after their MR Scan. The role involves caring for patients, placing intravenous cannulas, and removing these once the scan is completed. You will also be expected to ensure all consumables are available throughout the day, that the area is always clean and tidy, and that patients who need additional support through the scanning process are cared for throughout.
You will be expected to work flexibly, including weekends, and may need to do some additional hours to cover for colleagues' leave.
We are seeking to recruit hard-working, caring individuals to work alongside our busy clinical team in the MR Scanning Department at Wythenshawe Hospital. Full training in cannulation techniques and all other aspects of the role will be given to successful applicants.
