Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the teacher, ensuring students are on task and follow instructions.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure students are working effectively.
Support students’ learning by providing guidance and answering questions where necessary.
Assist with the delivery of pre-prepared lesson plans and activities.
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment, promoting respect and responsibility.
Assist with administrative duties such as taking registers and managing classroom resources.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and positive approach to supporting students in a classroom setting.
The ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain a calm, controlled environment.
Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to adapt quickly in various classroom situations.
Previous experience in education or working with young people is preferred but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
