Position: Refrigeration Engineer Hours: Full Time Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 Recruiting for a Refrigeration Engineer We're actively seeking a skilled and motivated Refrigeration Engineer for our client, a leading provider of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating Services. Key Responsibilities: As a Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining and repairing a wide range of systems across multiple sectors, including retail, food and beverage, commercial offices, council buildings, schools, and heavy industry sites. Your main responsibilities will include: Repairing and maintaining Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems, such as Cold Rooms, Chiller Cabinets, Display Cabinets, Split A/C, AHU, and VRV Systems. Diagnosing and efficiently rectifying system faults. Providing expert technical advice and support to clients. Participating in the Engineering Standby Rota to ensure consistent, high-quality service. What We’re Looking For: Our ideal candidate is a highly skilled and reliable Refrigeration Engineer who excels in both technical proficiency and customer service. The successful candidate will possess: City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning. Strong Mechanical and Electrical skills. An ECTIB Safety Passport. Over 5 years of industry experience. Extensive knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems. A clean driving license and the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
