Role overview We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced test engineer to join our Test team within FSP. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of test techniques in order to verify expected outcomes and results, and using quality processes and procedures. This role requires the ability to obtain SC Clearance Primarily based at FSP’s Reading office, this role can also involve a mix of onsite client work and opportunities to work from home. Responsibilities Ensure software products are designed correctly and continuously tested throughout the development lifecycle Create test strategies ensuring a range of test phases are covered Write test cases, test plans, structured test methodology and use cases Work closely with Multi-Vendor / Suppliers and Industry Participants to develop appropriate testing approaches and plans Contribute to the elaboration of user stories in order to achieve viable, testable products with clearly defined acceptance criteria Identify and discuss gaps in the data capture process and formulate the approach to be adopted to ensure all critical information is captured Validate and review levels of testing against the agreed test strategy for projects Work closely with the Products, Projects and Testing Team to meet Project deadlines Champion quality-driven delivery for the Products and identify, implement and enforce quality processes throughout the project delivery lifecycle Identify opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques as part of a focus on continuous improvement About you Minimum 3 years working as a Tester or equivalent Thorough and practical experience of working in QA and Test Good knowledge of full system life cycles, quality assurance practices and the tools required ISTQB®/ISEB foundation in software testing – preferred Demonstrable experience of working with third-party suppliers Proven experience working in teams practicing Agile & DevOps Experienced at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Quick Learner who is able to readily adapt to project needs What we look for in our people Strong alignment with FSP values and ethos Commitment to teamwork, quality and mutual success Proactivity with an ability to operate with pace and energy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dedication to excellence and quality Who are FSP?
