Service Engineer - West Yorkshire - Mechanically Biased - £40-44k + overtime (expected £4-7k per year) + 25 days holiday + access to pool van - UK coverage
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a mechanically biased Service Engineer to join a special purpose machine manufacturer based in West Yorkshire.
Key aspects of the Field Service Engineer role include:
1. The company is easily commutable from large parts of West Yorkshire including places such as Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley, Skipton, Shipley, Halifax and Otley. When the successful Service Engineer isn't out on customer sites, they'll be based on the shop floor in West Yorkshire.
2. Service Engineers applying are likely to be mechanically biased, with some electrical appreciation/knowledge.
3. As a guide, Service Engineers could expect to be working away for 2-3 nights a week, for approximately 3 weeks out of 4. Usually, the service work is planned in advance, so you'll know when you're going and for how long.
4. Inspect site work, carry out surveys and maintain service stock.
5. Knowledge of working in food factory environments - strongly preferred.
6. Growing company - over 25% increase in year-on-year turnover.
7. Hours worked over and above the standard 37.3/week are paid overtime.
8. IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S Qualification - ideal.
9. Full UK driving licence - essential.
10. All Service Engineer applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
