An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for a full-time Medical Secretary in the Oncology Department.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for a comprehensive, confidential and efficient secretarial service to the Oncology department including the Consultant Oncologists, their junior staff and the Oncology Team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be liaising with a wide variety of personnel at all levels both internal and external to the Health Board and from numerous external organisations.
We are looking for an individual who can manage the day-to-day running of the office, their workload, use their own initiative and who is able to cope with tight and multiple deadlines, in a constantly changing environment.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
* 5 GCSE's Grade C and above
* RSA Level 3 or Equivalent
Experience
* Experience working with Microsoft packages
* Dealing with Patients face to face & via telephone
* Secretarial Experience
* Experience of NHS Systems
* Medical Secretarial Experience
Skills
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to prioritise workload
* Good keyboard skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately
