Description Centre Academy East Anglia - Brettenham, Suffolk IP7 7QR £15 per hour 35 hours per week Permanent Reference: 6636 Required as soon as possible About us Centre Academy East Anglia is a small SEN School and is a vibrant and inclusive educational institution dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our school facilities. Applicants are required to attend a face-to-face interview, reference checks, and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance is required for this position prior to commencement. Your responsibilities Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages. Dispose of trash and recycling materials appropriately. Assist with setting up and cleaning after school events and activities. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for students and staff. Support Kitchen as required. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move equipment as needed.
